Summer is for Swimming

Chris, Charlie, and I went to Arizona over the weekend and had so much fun in Chris' family's new house. They have this awesome pool with a slide and hot tub. Charlie was in heaven. He loves to swim and always cries when I take him out of the pool or even the bath tub, haha. We had a lot of fun hanging out outside by the pool, tanning, grilling burgers, playing mini golf, going go-carting (which I beat Chris at), and much more.

Tulip Festival

Yesterday, Charlie and I joined my sister's family trip to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving point. I have never been and I've always wanted to go, but never found the time, so I'm really glad I was able to go this year, especially since we'll be moving to Kansas at the end of this month. So soon! Dayna said she thought this year was the best she's seen, so I'm glad I went. All of the tulips were shipped from Holland and were so beautiful! I've never seen so many flowers in my life! And the colors were absolutely lovely. Tulips might just be my new favorite flowers. It was a lovely day too when we went, like 72 degrees all day. It is finally starting to feel like spring/summer here! Just before we have to leave :( I'm sure gonna miss this place

My Boy

Today I got my new camera lens from Amazon that I got as a gift from Chris' wonderful parents! So I took it out for a spin today and I just love this lens a ton! The colors are a lot more bright and vivid. 

Today, Charlie and I went on a little walk to my sister's house and found my brother, Taylor, babysitting her kids. We thought the weather was just so nice outside so we walked all the way to the park with no stroller. Yes, Charlie walked 5 blocks all by himself. He is such a great walker now! I die everyday! The weather today was absolutely perfect! Such a fun day :)
