Chris and I had such a fun and wonderful Christmas Festive Weekend! We started our Saturday shopping at City Creek. Of course, we hit up our favorite Forever 21, but did not have time for H&M. We had reservations at Cheesecake Factory. We ordered our favorite: avocado egg rolls with past da vinci, to share of course. Afterwards, we went to an interfaith Christmas concert at the tabernacle in temple square. Chris' friend, Fenton, hooked us up with front row tickets! It was a really good show. The music was really good and so was the singing. Then we walked around in the beautiful snow and looked at the lights at temple square. Thankfully, we had an umbrella because everyone else was drenched in like 2 inches of snow on their heads and shoulders, and I would have been miserable if that happened to me. We also tried to get some hot chocolate at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, but the line was super long, so we ditched. This weekend was probably the coldest that provo/salt lake has been all winter season so far.

Driving home was also a mess. The snow was coming down hard. All of the main entrances to the highway were bumper-to-bumper traffic, and not moving, so we decided to drive further south to a different entrance and no one was on it! Woo hoo! Thankfully, our car did great in the snow, although we had to drive extremely slow the entire time. But I'm proud of our little black scion tc.

Pregnancy update: I am around 25 weeks preggers! I am almost 2/3rds of the way done! Thinking about delivery and being a Mom freak me out though. I want this baby to stay inside of me as long as possible. I'm not ready yet! We got our crib from my parents last week! It is super cute, white wooden from Ikea. The new crib gets me excited for little Charlie to get here, but I still have anxiety and stress when I think about what it will be like when he actually gets here. I sometimes have dreams that I forget to feed him or don't know how to feed him and my baby is just starving! Nightmare, right? Yes. Hopefully I won't be so clueless when Charlie gets here in a little over 3 months.

For Halloween this year, Chris and I dressed up as a princess and a knight for our ward party. On actual Halloween night, I was a witch, and Chris was still a night. We had a wonderful holiday decorating pumpkins, I even made one for our future baby. That is why it is so tiny and I made his pumpkin face look like a baby. It's been a while since I last blogged, so I don't remember much that happened during the month of October. In September, Chris and I had our 1 year anniversary and Chris turned 24! The day before Halloween we found out that we are going to have a baby boy! In November, Chris and I spent Thanksgiving in Arizona with his family. It was a blast! I took pictures, but they are all on Chris' phone. I will have to retrieve those soon.

 Bahamas Celebration Cruise

 Getting my dance on in the night club during the day

 In the Bahamas!
{shortly after this photo was taken, I threw up in the local Subway restaurant. Thankfully, I made it just in time to the toilet}

 Obsessed with all the rainbow colors! I had to take as many pictures as possible!

 And we ended it with a lovely local strawberry smoothie... inside a real coconut!

So Chris and I got a call on his phone about free tickets for a cruise to the Bahamas. All Chris had to do was answer some questions about the election, Romney, and Obama and stuff. Afterwards, they transferred the call to the Bahamas Celebration Cruise. We thought it was a total scam and made them send us a legit email and everything. We eventually gave in and did it! Of course, we had to pay them travel taxes, and other fees, but it ended up being around 50 bucks a person for a two night cruise. We also purchased a 2 night stay in a hotel near Miami before the cruise. Also, we had to attend a time-share meeting the day before the cruise, but we were outta there pretty quick. They knew we were in school and about to have a baby, so we had no money to spend on time-shares. haha.

We had a great time together in Florida and the Bahamas. I just wish I wasn't so nauseous 24/7 from being pregnant. I would have enjoyed it so much more. When I look back at the trip, I just remember feeling miserable and hungry all of the time, but could not keep down or eat a lick of food. So Chris and I have to do it again now that I'm better.

In the Bahamas, we had the best relaxing day. We stayed at a resort hotel and did a banana boat ride throughout the island. We saw all of the mansions with their yachts and we saw the local dolphins jump and do tricks! It was a lot of fun. I mainly wanted to sleep though haha. All in all, we had a great time together, just us two, before we went back to Utah.
