Today, Chris, Charlie, and I all went to the new Loveland Living Planet Aquarium in Draper! I have been wanting to go to this Aquarium for over a year, but it has been under construction. I am such a dork. This week it finally opened! It is like a zoo, but all indoors! There were some animals that weren't there, so they said we can come back again for free whenever we want! Charlie loved the Shark tank. There was this stingray that kept swimming right up against the wall that we were sitting by. It was awesome. They have penguins and otters! I love otters! My absolute favorite! We then hit up Chipotle for lunch, which I have been craving for over a month. Today was a pretty great day :)

Charlie's 1st Birthday!
My baby turned 1 on Thursday. oh-my-gosh. I have a one-year-old. What the heck? This year went by wayyy toooo fast! Charlie is as cute as ever, though. I love his little personality. He is obsessed with wheels, all wheels, all sizes, even ones that are three times his size. Heh as such a fun birthday party at the park with food and drinks and presents. Charlie was not the biggest fan about his cupcake. Maybe because it was half burned (thanks stupid oven). So I just had him suck on the icing, but he didn't really care for that either. Hopefully he'll be the only healthy eater in our family!
The weather was really nice! I'm so excited that spring is here, kinda, haha. Charlie and I are both much happier outside. And there is so much more to do when the weather is nice. I hate the days that I am stuck at home because I don't have a car and our apartment is messy. Gah!
Also, Its official! Chris and I are moving to Kansas at the end of May! I'm excited, but also scared and nervous and sad. I will miss my friends and family here in Utah. I've only live in Utah and Maryland. And I've been in Utah for the last 6 years! Holy Cow! But, Chris promised me that we will only be in Kansas for a year, so there's a light at the end of the tunnel, haha. Wish us luck!

Eleven months
My itty bitty baby is 11 months old as of 2 days ago. He is almost a 1 year old kid. I can't believe it! He has grown up so much so fast! He has such a cute little personality. He loves to knock down towers of blocks. He loves to try and eat the screen on his play laptop. He loves to talk to siri on my iPhone. He loves to throw balls and play pass/catch. He loves the swing. He loves the pool and loves to swim. He loves to crawl away from me as I try to get him. He loves getting tickled. He loves mirrors and looking at himself. He loves paper. He loves his teddy bear that I got him for Christmas. He loves to open up every drawer and cupboard in the kitchen. He loves to crawl super fast into the bathroom when the door is left open. He does not like balloons, loud noises, darkness, grass, fake flowers, when other kids cry, when people leave the room (even strangers), new things, and I'm sure lots of other things that I don't know yet. He is a very sensitive, special kid. He always gets into mischief and hurts himself, which is why his face looks all cut up, poor kid. I love him so much!
He can finally feed himself his own bottle! He can eat real adult food, but I still feed him pureed food. I love his fat little belly after he eats and how it sticks out of his shirt. He has 3 teeth up top and 2 teeth on bottom. He still naps twice a day, 2 hours each, and sleeps 12+ hours at night. He no longer cries when I put him down for naps and bedtime. He is a absolute best baby!

Ten months
My baby turned into a kid overnight. It's not fair. Stop growing! He can stand, kinda, with support. The other day I got him to stand all by himself, but only for a few seconds. I will cry the day he can walk. He is my sweetheart baby. He loves to crawl everywhere and stand up by the couch and follow me around the house. He hates when I'm cooking or in the kitchen or when I stand up. He wants to be held or in my arms while playing with him constantly. He hates when I leave his crib side for nap/bed time. He is so lovable and snuggable. He is my squishy, my teddy bear (hence his hat, haha). He got this hat for Christmas from Chris' Mom. Adorable! We get comments on it everywhere we go! Plus, Charlie looooves it.
Charlie is just the best baby there is. I love him so much and he gets cuter and cuter every month, dontcha think?

An Arizona Christmas
Christmas this year was especially special with my sweet little boy, Charlie. He made my favorite season a million and a half times better! This year, we spent Christmas break in Arizona, with Chris' family. It was such a fun week and a half! We saw lots of movies, animals at the zoo and aquarium, played tons of board and card games with the family, etc. Charlie even got special one-on-one time with his grandparents, who were so kind to watch him for a day and a half while Chris and I went on a little vacation to Sedona, Arizona. We stayed at Chris' uncle's condo for the night and explored the city and shops and restaurants. The next day, we went on a jeep tour to get a special sight of the beautiful red rock around there. We even got to explore on a little trail to climb the red rock and see the most magnificent view of the city, Sedona. It was so much fun! I sure love Arizona! The weather was beautiful the entire time we were there in Arizona. Around 70's everyday. Nothing like winter in Utah, where it's below freezing everyday. Crazy!
Christmas morning was so awesome with Charlie. He crawled everywhere and loved the ribbon and wrapping paper. His grandparents got him so many toys! He loved it! Chris and I got him his very own teddy bear, that I hope one day he will be very attached to. We will see haha. We also got him a book about a teddy bear. Cheesy, I know, but it's Christmas. I can't wait for next Christmas, when Charlie will be able to walk and talk. It's going to be magical.
