The Crater

Yesterday, Chris and I went to the Crater, located in Midway, Utah to take a little swim in the 92 degree water and crater hole above water. There were other snorkelers and scuba divers there. The water felt amazing! The first time I saw that this existed was on the Bachelor with Ben. He and some other chick jumped through the top of the hole into the water. I thought it was amazing and was shocked to find out that it was located in Midway, Utah, just 30 minutes away from my house. We highly recommend this beautiful place.

I asked workers there if they met the Bachelor and this one guy said that he did. I asked, "Oh cool, what was he like?" He said, "really rude. Him and the girl did not even show up together." That disappointed me since in the show he picked her up for her date at the house and it seems like they drive there together. But I guess not. Anyways, I'm in love with Emily who is in the Bachelorette now. She is the best!

Eclipse

No, this post is not about vampires and werewolves. There was an actual solar eclipse last night in the provo area! It was so epic! I have never seen one ever in my entire life. We searched online how to make pinhole camera viewers, but we did not have any of the supplies. We then figured out to just use 2 sunglasses. It did not hurt our eyes at all! Well, at least I think it did not. It was really rad! I got an amazing photo of the eclipse. Check it out!

wow, its been a long time

This past week has been crazy! My sister, Shannon, and my brother, Taylor, came to town! We have been doing tons of fun things lately with all of the little kiddos. We went to City Creek, Alpine to go swimming, out for dinner and lunch many times, Chris went golfing, we had a family dinner at a park, Magleby's fresh for french toast, and Jayne came over to play! She got bored after about 20 minutes. Sadly, I don't have any toys for her to play with, but I let her jump on the bed!

And she tried on the dress I made for her! Yes, I made this. I'm thinking of starting my own business making clothes and charging people for it. It would be sweet because my new sewing machine is awesome! Love it! And Jayne loves this dress too!

Chris' Post

I interned with the Governor's Office of Economic Development. We held a conference called Utah-Europe Days. Cool professionals from Europe and International companies in Utah met together. I helped out during the conference. Here are some pictures I took from the top of Zion's bank during the conference.

Space Center

Last night, Chris and I went on a big group date to the Space Center! It was so cool! I did one of these when I was in middle school, but not really like this. It was really interactive. We all had positions. I volunteered to be the Captain! It was so fun yelling at people and telling them what to do. Half the time I had no idea what I was saying or if my people even knew what to do, but we won our mission. Our ship was called the Phoenix. We established good relations with the Romulans and tested the nebula star. Boom, roasted. It was around a 2 hour mission. We also had some alien intruders and a freaky cat in our space ship that would scare the crap out of us. Luckily we had our laser guns and shot them dead. Boom, roasted. It was an epic mission and Chris and I may even do the overnight, where you have a mission every 2 hours throughout the night. Sounds amazing.

Sunday Walk

Sunday was a very pleasant day for Chris and I. We woke up early for church and I taught a combined gospel doctrine class. Afterwards, we napped to Top Gun. That is the second time I have fell asleep to that movie. Not that great and kind of boring. Then we had a great dinner, some chicken pot pies. I also showed the car to a guy later that night. Then Chris and I went on a walk down center street. We saw some construction and walked by the printing museum.

As we were taking pictures by it, this cute old man drove up and asked us if we would like to go into the museum for a little 5 minute tour. We were like, "Heck yea!" He unlocked the door and showed us around the place. His name was Crandall, the owner. He was so proud that President Thomas S. Monson came to his museum for an hour and a half. He would not stop talking about it. The printing museum was kind of cool! And Crandall said that everyone around the country knows about his museum, except for people in provo. Haha poor old man. I'm sorry, but thanks for the tour!
