North Captiva Island

After flying all day from Utah to Florida, we spent the night in a hotel, and the next morning we took a ferry to North Captiva Island. It was such a beautiful wonderful day! We ended it with a sunset beach walk.

Then we spent a gorgeous day at the beach, which was right in front of our house! Charlie had a blast!

 Check out this booger face!

We rented some bikes for a day and Charlie loved it! He was smiling the whole entire time!

One of the days we rented a couple boats to tour the other islands. We went to one island with a really good restaurant and a lighthouse thing that we climbed to the top of and snapped this photo. On the way home in the boats, we got into a huge rain storm! It was crazy! We even got stuck for a little bit on a sandbar. It was so much!
Gorgeous sunset that we saw every single night
 Best Buddies!

Florida last week was the best week I've had in a really long time. It was much needed! It was so fun to hang out and catch up with my family over the week. Even though, there were several people missing, and by several, I mean half of my family, haha, it was still great to see my little sibs! I love my family!

Conference Weekend

This conference weekend was awesome! So many inspired words and I finally did not fall asleep during some of the sessions! I made sure to stay awake by taking notes of every talk. And now I have all of these notes from inspired speakers! Chris and I were fortunate enough to attend the Sunday afternoon session of conference, which I was so excited about since we are moving to Kansas at the end of next month and would not have another chance in at least a year or two. It was such a wonderful weekend and the weather was so nice!

One of my favorite talks was from Russell M. Nelson, who taught to "Let your faith show", which I always try to do. My religion, social life, personal life, private life, spiritual life, professional life, and every aspect of my life go hand-in-hand. I cannot separate my religion from my political and personal views. They are intertwined. They make up who I am. They are me. I hope to never hide my faith!

Oh, and if you're wondering, I'm a mormon!

My baby is no longer a baby

Our family loves to go to Nickelcity whenever Chris has a day off of work. We went a couple weeks ago and Charlie was loving all of the games! He played all of the race car games and motorcycle games and he was having a blast! I love that his personality is coming out and he is such a little boy, it is the absolute cutest!
We went to the park last week and it was like 80 degrees that day, crazy!
Last week, my sister rented a puppy for her daughter's 3rd birthday! The dog kinda freaked me out at first cus she was super excited when I put Charlie on the ground to play, and the puppy started jumping on him, and knocking him down, and scratching/nibbling his face. Poor Charlie is probably scarred for life by this dog now. He's gonna be one of those kids that are deathly afraid of every dog in the world, great.

I showed Charlie this picture of him that sits on our nightstand and he was obsessed with himself!
Charlie and I went to the provo beach resort with his cousins and my sisters, and we rode the merry-go-round. This was his face the whole entire time, haha!
Charlie and Emory always follow each other around, it is adorable! Check out Emory's lovely smile! I love that he has such good cousins that live so close. So sad we're going to be moving so soon!
Crystal babysat Charlie last weekend and put all 3 kids in the tub! Awesome!
We went to the tumbling gym a couple days ago, and at one point I couldn't see Charlie and so I ran around to find him in case he got hurt or something, and I found him climbing up this super tall ramp! At the top of the ramp, there is a long drop, so I'm glad I found him, haha, but check out his skills!

My little boy started doing this noise with his mouth and he just thinks it's the absolute funniest thing ever!

My not-so-baby-anymore baby can walk! Sorta, but only just a few steps... I'm so proud!
