I can't wait until tomorrow

In anticipation of my family reunion at Deep Creek Lake tomorrow, I'd like to share with you a music video I made with my sister, Crystal, and friend, Aubrey, in 2009. Let me warn you, it is very entertaining and very embarrassing. Our outfits may be weird, but our dancing is phenomenal!

 At the end of the week, we went to Disneyland for 3 days and stayed in the resort hotel! So much fun! Check out my Disney attire! Jealous of those ears?

Kamp Kansas

 A few weeks ago, my little sister Elyse came to visit me in Kansas for a week! We had such a blast! Here are some things that we did. First day, we went to Schlitterbahn! A water park that is home of the tallest water slide in the world! But, it wasn't open when we went to the park, so I'll need to go back again! We also went to Worlds of Fun amusement park which was a blast!

 We went to an outdoor concert at the park and Elyse said she wanted a "cool" hair-do. This is what I came up with. A french fish tail braid!

I'm so glad Elyse came to visit!It was fun to explore Kansas for a week with my little sister who is growing up so fast! WOW! I am 10 years older than her and she is making me feel like an old bum! As tradition, we made a music video while she was here. I always made music videos with her since she was just a baby. We have a family home video of us jumping on my bed to music and Elyse was around 2 or 3 years old, haha. Sure love my lessee-loo!

California Dreamin'

 Last week, Chris, Charlie, and I were in California for the Guinn Family Reunion! Everyone stayed at a condo on Newport Beach for a week, and then after, just Chris' family went to Disneyland for 3 days and stayed at the hotel inside the park! So much fun! Chris only went to the last half, but I was there with my Charlie for the whole trip. Charlie is obsessed with the beach and ocean! He especially loved playing with his Grandpa Kirk. Their bond is so strong! He will choose him over me every time! Charlie also called him "dada" a couple times before Chris came, haha.

 Charlie was in this position for a good minute and a half. I think he liked looking at the waves upside-down.

 This is what Grandpa and Charlie did every day. Grandpa made this giant mud castle and Charlie played along in the puddle.

Chris and I at World of Color! Charlie was a disaster leading up to the show at 9:45. He was so tired and did not want to sleep in his stroller, but after an hour of walking around the park, he finally passed out and slept through the entire World of Color performance, which was too bad because he would have loved it. We had such a blast all week and I can't wait for the next family reunion!
